Robson Hall, Faculty of Law Homecoming Reception
Dean Jonathan Black-Branch of the Faculty of Law, University of Manitoba, is pleased to invite all Robson Hall Alumni to our annual Homecoming reception on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
This year marks the 150th anniversary of Canadian confederation when we will gather at the historic home of Sir Hugh John Macdonald, son of Canada’s first Prime Minister Sir John A. Macdonald. Sir H.J. Macdonald was a Winnipeg lawyer, politician, and briefly, Premier of Manitoba, who left a lasting legacy that is sure to stimulate dialogue among visitors to his former residence.
To mark Canada’s anniversary the Dean will invite alumni to participate in Robson Hall’s sesquicentennial project: Reflections at 150: Canada’s Contribution to Peace, Human Rights & Social Justice – Les Réflexions au Cent Cinquantenaire: La Contribution du Canada à la paix, aux droits de la personne et à la justice sociale.
We look forward to reconnecting with many of our graduates at the Dalnavert Museum Visitors’ Centre, 61 Carlton Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 1N7. Click here to register.
