Dr. DeLloyd Guth

Dr. Donna T. Andrew is a Professor Emerita of History at the University of Guelph. She earned her B. A. (CCNY), M. S. (LSE), and Ph.D. (Toronto) to become a research expert on London 1680-1850, focused on law, morals and class formation. She has published three books on different aspects of life in 18th century England, and numerous articles and book chapters ranging from dispute resolution by Duelling, by Public Apologies, and by Codes of Honour.
Her most recent book, “Aristocratic Vice: The Attack on Duelling, Suicide, Adultery, and Gambling in Eighteenth-Century England,” was published by Yale University Press in 2013.
