Robson Hall Extended Building Hours March-April 2019

Starting Monday, March 25th, students are permitted to remain in the building after it has been locked at 10:00 p.m. nightly.

NOTE: For your safety and security, students wishing to remain in the building after it has been locked should sign up before 4:00p.m. daily in the General Office. As a convenience, students are able to sign up on a weekly basis. There will be a weekly sign-up sheet posted at the front desk of the General Office, and the schedule will be sent to Security Services at 4 PM daily.

The MLSA has booked rooms 204, 205, 206 and 207 for students to use as study halls. Please respect these areas by cleaning up any food waste and other garbage. The common room will be locked at 10:00 p.m. nightly. The washrooms on the 100 level will remain accessible after-hours.

Students may also book study sessions in rooms 431, 433, and 446. These rooms can be booked in 3 hour slots MAX. A sign-up sheet will be available in the General Office. The same protocol applies to these 4th floor rooms; students MUST sign up before 4:00p.m. daily in the General Office should they wish to remain in the building after 10 p.m.  

Extended E.K. Williams Law Library Hours:

Beginning Friday, March 29th – Sunday, April 21st.

Monday – Thursday:       8:30 am – 7:00 pm         Study Hall 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Friday:                               8:30 am – 5:00 pm         Study Hall 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Saturday:                                                                     Study Hall 9:30 am – 9:00 pm
Sunday:                              12:00 pm – 8:00 pm        Study hall 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Note: Library staff are not available during Study Hall Hours.  The library will be locked after the listed study hall hours nightly. 

Beverages in containers with secure lids are permitted.
Food and food deliveries are NOT permitted.
Please use the recycling/garbage bins provided.

Safety precautions:

  • Do not prop open the doors to the building. If you need to leave the building, have another law student let you in when you return.
  • Have a personal safety plan and set up a buddy system or travel in pairs.
  • Stay alert to your surroundings, trust your instincts and, if you feel uncomfortable in a place or situation, leave immediately.
