Manitoba Law Journal Prize

Awarded to student(s) who contribute an article for publication in the Law Journal.  If articles submitted in any given year are not worthy of publication, no award need be made that year.

Background Information

In 1973, the Manitoba Law Journal established prizes to be awarded to students who contribute articles for publication in the Manitoba Law Journal.  The article must demonstrate excellence in scholarly legal research and writing to be deemed worthy of publication.  The recipient of a prize has had his or her article selected by a committee composed of a teaching member of the Faculty of Law, a Manitoba lawyer and a judge of the Manitoba Court of Queen’s Bench.
