Course Descriptions

The University of Manitoba, Faculty of Law is dedicated to educating law students in a progressive learning environment, conducting ground-breaking research, and serving the legal profession and the community as a source of knowledge and expertise. In addition to providing a strong “generalist” education, the faculty is developing three areas of focus relevant to the legal and social challenges facing Manitoba, Canada and the world in the twenty-first century: Aboriginal Law, Business Law and Human Rights Law.
