Yude M. Henteleff Award in Human Rights and Civil Liberties 2019

Mr. Yude M. Henteleff, C.M. Q.C. has established this Award to be given to a student who has completed the third year of study in the Faculty of Law, and has demonstrated an active interest in human rights and civil liberties through involvement as a volunteer in endeavours such as Pro Bono Canada, The University Law Clinic, the Manitoba Association of Rights and Liberties, Amnesty International, the Women’s Legal Education Action Fund, Canadian Lawyers for International Human Rights, and/or any other human rights organization.

If you would like to be considered for this award, or would like to nominate someone, please write a letter outlining how you or your nominee meet the requirements of the terms of reference (noted above) for this Award. Please submit your letter no later than 4.30 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2019 to the Associate Dean, Bruce Curran, c/o Chenise Robert, Room 303, Robson Hall.

The recipient of this award will be notified in May 2019.
