Natasha Brown is the Access to Justice Coordinator at the Law Society of Manitoba. She assumed this newly created role in May, 2021. In this role, she primarily acts as the primary support person for the work of the Manitoba Access to Justice Steering Committee and coordinates access work among stakeholders. Prior to assuming this position, Natasha was the Director of Professional Practice & Externships at Robson Hall and was the former Legal Director of the Legal Help Centre (“LHC”). Natasha received her Bachelor of Education in 2001 and her Bachelor of Laws in 2005. Natasha worked in private practice, exclusively in the area of family law, until 2012 when she joined LHC. Natasha is an elected council member of the Manitoba Bar Association and the former President of the Association for Canadian Clinical Legal Education (ACCLE). Natasha received the Dean's Award for Teaching Excellence in 2020 and she was awarded the National Lexpert Zenith Award in 2017 in recognition for her work mentoring law students and young lawyers.
