Course Description

Comparative Constitutional law is universally recognized as an important foundational area of legal education. Constitutions are the supreme law of states. This course will provide a comparative understanding of the values of constitutions across states. The course will explore the meaning of reasonable and proportional existing limitations of rights, and advantages of enumerations of rights and freedoms in a comparative context. This will assist students hoping for careers as human rights activists, lawyers, public sector workers, government leaders, and in corporate law.
