Thank You Volunteers!

The term has ended and it’s time to take stock of the year. This week being National Volunteer Week reminded us that we can’t do everything ourselves but we “get by with a little help from our friends.” Thank you to all the many volunteers who help the Faculty of Law achieve its goal of educating the next generations of lawyers.

Thank you for what you do

So many of our volunteers are practicing legal professionals who donate their time and talents. Members of the practicing bar volunteer for moot and negotiation competitions, speak at information sessions, assist with experiential learning opportunities, volunteer as Pro Bono Student Canada Supervisors, and much more. The staff and faculty at UM Law also thank our law students for helping us run career fair booths, run events, and do outreach.

Thank you for who you are

Our volunteers include articling law students, articling students, junior lawyers, senior lawyers, partners at law firms, sole practitioners, and judges in all levels of court.
